Much like the Lafuma range of outdoor zero gravity chairs and the Human Touch range of indoor zero gravity recliners, the Teeter range of inversion tables are considered to be the best choice around.
So what makes Teeter inversion table potentially the best inversion table to consider?
Firstly Teeter are the only brand to make FDA cleared inversion tables, designed specifically to to ease and help with muscle tension and back issues such as sciatica and herniated discs.
Teeter tables have also been tested and compared against 4 other leading brands of inversion tables and have proven to be superior in all aspects. Teeter inversion tables have been granted a UL safety certification to show their high level of quality and durability. The tests conducted also showed that Teeter inversion tables were the easiest and quickest inversion devices to assemble.
The Teeter Ep-560 & EP-560 Ltd
The Teeter Ep – 560 is by far one of the most popular inversion tables on the market and one of the most affordable inversion tables from the Teeter range. It is also a product that is often emulated by lower priced brands, however never to as higher standard. If you do see an inversion table that looks similar in design from a brand other than Teeter, it is wise to be a little cautious.
The EP-560 has a number of additional extras that can either be bought separately, or bought in packages along with the inversion table for a small extra cost. For example the EP-560 Ltd package (shown on the featured image above) comes with 8 colorful acupressure nodes included to provide focused relief and pressure point relief for muscles. In addition to this, the Ltd variation also comes complete with a lumbar support bridge to allow for deeper spinal compression and traction, as well as better support.
Another option is the EP-560 with back pain relief kit (pictured right). This package comes with everything included in the Ltd package but also features extra long Stretch Max handles to give more stretching options. The extra long handles also allow for easier assistance throughout inversion, making this a perhaps more suitable option for beginners. You can see the difference in the length of the handles by comparing the image on the right with the featured product image above.
The Teeter 560 is suitable for anyone up to a recommended weight capacity of 300 lbs. It is also height adjustable between the heights of 4 ft 8 inches – 6 ft 6 inches. This makes it one of the better inversion tables available for shorter users, as some of the cheaper inversion tables tend to be more suited for those over 5 ft tall.
Other features of the EP-560 include comfortable wrap around ankle cups made from comfortable foam. As well as a contoured bed that features hand grips at the sides and top for further stretching options. The 560 is also one of the easiest inversion tables to control and features precision rotation to help you balance and invert using arm movements.
Teeter inversion tables also come complete with a 5 year full warranty, a user guide and DVD.
One question that often arises is what is the main difference between the EP-560 and the also highly popular Teeter EP-960? We have answered this in our full inversion table guide here if you are also wondering this.
